Join Minneapolis contemporary company Crash Dance Productions for our annual 2-week intensive. Train with company members, then work with guest teaching artists to learn a piece of repertory to be performed alongside the entire Crash family in their summer show, We Become Silhouettes, at Luminary Arts Center.

During week 1, dancers will attend a daily session that will include a mini-class (warm up, contemporary dance technique, progressions and combinations, and improvisational exercises) and rehearsal for a repertory piece, at Hothouse in Minneapolis. During week 2, dancers will attend technical & dress rehearsals, and perform their repertory piece in a run of shows at Luminary Arts Center. Tickets for We Become Silhouettes will be available at luminaryartscenter.com.

Dancers ages 13-17 (incoming grades 7-12) should register for our Teen Intensive. The teen intensive is recommended for middle school or high school students that attend/have attended dance studios or programs, and are looking for an immersive introduction to concert dance.

Dancers ages 18-24 (post-secondary) should register for our Adult Intensive. The adult intensive is recommended for dancers with a strong contemporary dance background, or movers who have trained in contemporary, ballet, jazz, or modern dance.

Crash Course is back! Join Minneapolis contemporary company Crash Dance Productions for our first ever 2-week intensive. Train with company members, then work with teaching artists to learn a piece of repertoire to be performed alongside the entire Crash family in their summer show, “24 Palms,” at The Southern Theater.
